i heard that you can actually consume corn starch packing peanuts, so although i didn't go as far as to ingest my art, i bravely licked this one into shape.  lived to tell the tale!

i found actual cotton bolls in a vintage store nearby and was fascinated!  I formed the fluff and it seemed appropriate to place it on a scrap of vintage cotton fabric for its photo shoot
