creating one heart, every day, for one whole year.
Hi Ellen,I found this picture of a twig heart on Pinterest. I just posted it on Facebook, but I wanted you to know that I gave full credit to you with a link to this blog. Wonderful work! Have you done more?Thank you!Jillwww.artofthegarden.net
Hi Jill! Thank you so much. Someone else informed me of the same thing, and she posted it on her blog as a Valentine's craft and was kind enough to give me credit there. I really appreciate both of you for doing that! I haven't done any more, and sometimes I miss it! I hope to do something in the near future as far as offering prints or posters or one day a book!
I'm hoping someone posts a tutorial! :)Alley
I have placed it on my Facebook, because it's so nice. In summer vacation I will make the same with my children.
It is a fun project! I actually made another, smaller one to have at my own home. Have fun making one!
I want to make some of these hearts for gifts. Could you please tell me what size/kind of wire you used to connect the twigs together? Thank you.
I fell in love with this! My church group and I had fun trying to recreate it: http://sweetsugarblossoms.blogspot.com/2014/08/stick-art-tutorial.htmlThank you for sharing your talents!
Wonderful! It's a great group project because it doesn't have to be exact and everyone can customize theirs. Your tutorial was very good - a little different from how I went about it but with nearly the same results! Glad you had fun and shared it with me!
This is lovely think ill get our outdoor kids club at school to do something similar ... they are only small so maybe just rainbow squares would be good ...ill try and take a pic if we do this and let you see our end results :)
This is the picture that brought me to your site. You are an AMAZING heartist! What a treat to see all that you have created... (Sonya in Decatur, GA)
